you were so correct about Graduation! holy shit, he does everything on this album. side b is a hit machine, and he is so much more in control of his flow than any rapper. it never really feels like he is the best rapper but then you get a few years and his vocals are always so self-confident but college-style-existential, in control, and reverent. it's really that he makes albums that are immediately familiar and how can i front that his album's themes progressed as mine did through university... like the hood harry potter. y'got Flashing Lights, which is the best prelude to 808's and maybe his most anthemic song... then the verses in Everything I Am, both chillin rite out, then he gets progressively harder for the Glory and Homecoming (against fuccin Chris Martin, so maybe thatt's why it sounds tough...) but you also have Big Brother which is a pretty cool call back to Last Call (Kanye kicks ass when he's kickin anecdotes)...
hey, while i'm here, try to calm down about 808's, it's actually pretty good, just stop bein a pussy and demanding "less singing."
